The International commission for the protection of the Rhine (ICBR) will hold a workshop on the “Masterplan for migratory fishes on the Rhine”. The workshop, will be held on April 27 and 28th in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
The Masterplan demonstrates how, within a clear time-schedule and at a sustainable cost stable fish populations can be reintroduced to in the Rhine River basin to Basel.
The workshop will propose and follow up on how far the Rhine states have progressed in implementing the plan. Participants in the workshop should include everyone involved in the implementation process – inland shipping is explicitly listed as a user – in order to allow everyone the option to exchange views.
